“Healing begins when we allow ourselves to be tuned, like an instrument, back to harmony.”
Slow down, Breathe, Reconnect with yourself…
Hello, I am Joan.
I'm a firm believer in the magic of sound. I'm also a corporate girlie, so trust me, I know exactly what stress does to people. I've felt it in my own body: the tight shoulders, the noisy mind, the way you can be running on empty and still keep pushing. I lived that for years.
Then sound found me, and everything shifted.
I'd been searching for something I couldn't quite name, and the moment I sat in my first session, I knew this was my calling. Sound became the container that holds it all, my purpose, my joy and the light in my world.
I'm certified and trained with the Sound Healing Academy, and I've also done Reiki and shamanism courses. So while sound is at the core of what I do, my practice weaves all of those threads together.
What I really want to share with you is a space to be safe and present, a moment to slow down, let the noise settle, and feel a little lighter when you leave than when you walked in.
Because stress is real, life gets heavy, and we all deserve moments of light and joy. Sound is how I found mine and I'd love to help you find yours.
What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing is simpler than it sounds: you lie down, get comfortable, and let the sound do the work.
Sound healing is an immersive therapy using the vibration and frequency of instruments to engage your parasympathetic nervous system and let your body and mind rest and restore. Your breath slows, your body relaxes, and your brainwaves gently shift from the busy, active state of everyday life into the slower, calmer states we usually only reach in deep meditation or sleep. It supports deep relaxation and helps the body genuinely rest.
Sound works across all five layers of you — physical, mental, emotional, soul and spirit. Depending on what you're carrying that day, sound meets you where you need it. There's nothing to figure out with your logical brain, your body and mind take what they need.
No experience, belief, or musical ability required. You simply rest, relax, and let the sound do the rest.

We'll start with a chat so I can get to know you, what you'd like to work through, any areas of concern, and together we'll set an intention that becomes the framework for your session. Then you get comfy, lie down, and close your eyes. I'll guide you in with a gentle sound meditation before moving through a range of instruments to balance the energy in your biofield. All you have to do is stay comfortable and trust the process. Most people drift into a deep, dreamy state somewhere between waking and sleep.

None at all. This is one of the easiest ways to drop into a meditative state, precisely because you don't have to do anything. If you've struggled to relax before, sound does the heavy lifting for you.

Wear something comfortable you can fully relax in. I provide everything else, blankets, bolster, eye masks… You're welcome to bring your own blanket, pillow, eye mask, or anything that helps you get comfortable.

Everyone's different depends on where you’re at, what you’re going through and what we are working on. Many people feel deeply relaxed, light and refreshed; some feel a sense of clarity; others feel a quiet emotional release. I always leave a little time at the end to bring you back gently, and I recommend drinking plenty of water afterwards.
-
Whatever suits you. Some people come for a one-off reset, others make it a regular ritual, weekly, monthly, or whenever life feels loud. There's no rule; listen to what your body needs. I will meet you where you’re at.

Sound healing is generally low risk and safe for most people. If you're pregnant, have epilepsy, a pacemaker or any serious medical condition, please let me know when you book so we can adapt the session and check with your doctor if you're unsure. It's complementary to medical care and talk therapy, never a replacement for it. I am not a trained psychologist , please consult professionals if you experience severe depression and anxiety.
